About The Position

The Night Auditor is responsible for greeting, registering, and assisting guests, processing check-ins/check-outs, answering phone calls, responding to guest requests, and resolving issues promptly. This role also involves balancing and reconciling daily financial transactions, running and reviewing daily reports, auditing and verifying front desk postings and transactions, and processing various payment methods accurately. The Night Auditor ensures all reservations, cancellations, and no-shows are properly logged and follows company policies and procedures, including safety and emergency protocols. This position requires the ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
  • Proficiency with computers and hotel property management systems (PMS).
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous hotel front desk or accounting experience preferred.
  • Experience with PMS systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Follow company policies and procedures, including safety and emergency protocols.
