About The Position
The Red Lion Hotel Bellevue is currently searching for a full-time Night Auditor to join our team on the overnight shift. A Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing the auditing, posting and balancing of daily financial transactions to support the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively in English - both written and verbally
- Familiarity with Windows and similar computer programs, including Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Strong cash handling, balancing, and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work an overnight shift from 11pm - 7am.
Nice To Haves
- Previous customer service experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Audit, post and balance daily cashiers' work for outlets including, but not limited to, outlets in Rooms and Food and Beverage.
- Ensure credit card system reconciles to daily transaction lists.
- Schedule and assign daily housekeeping work and communicate with the appropriate team members.
- Monitor guest activity from the front desk.
- Check in and check out guests quickly and efficiently, while answering any questions they may have.
- Act as the manager on duty, and respond to any fire, life or safety emergency, as required.
