About The Position
Sportsnet is looking for Part Time NHL DAI Operators to manage and support live Ad insertion on NHL broadcasts this 2026-27 season for SN PLUS streaming services. This is a 9-month contract term with possibility for extension.
Requirements
- Good understanding of broadcast operations.
- Ability to react quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of NHL production formats is an asset
Responsibilities
- Oversee technical setup and routing of live broadcast signals for NHL and other events as required.
- Execute Ad triggers throughout each game broadcast.
- Monitor signals to ensure they meet Sportsnet’s broadcast standards
- Work closely with the Media Transmission team and Technical Support staff to trouble shoot on-air issues
- Liaise with Sportsnet’s broadcast transmission team for game updates and DAI assignments.
- Provide detailed technical reports after each game.
- Adhere to all broadcast policies & procedures.
