About The Position

Chevron is accepting online applications for the position NGL Rail Scheduler through 04/16/2026 at 11:59 p.m. Central Time Zone We are currently seeking high-energy professionals who are customer-focused to join our dynamic organization as an NGL/LPG Operations Scheduler. This role is for rail fleet coordination/rail scheduling with the goal of providing safe and reliable flow assurance for Chevron’s Upstream and Downstream and Chemicals business while maximizing commercial value.

Requirements

• Rail scheduling or fleet management experience
• On-call availability for evening, weekend and holiday scheduling emergencies
• Team player and ability to work in fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
• Excellent communication and customer management

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the NGL/LPG commodity space
• Experience in a trading organization
• Railtrac, eBill or similar platform experience

Responsibilities

• Schedule railcars to gather, transport, and deliver NGL/LPGs for Chevron's Upstream, Downstream and Trading businesses in North America
• Lead day-to-day railcar scheduling and operations including nominations, system balancing, and journey management
• Record all related purchase, sale and exchange activities in the trading and rail management systems
• Collaborate on and communicate operational costs, optimization initiatives, and best practice learning
• Collaborate with railroads, Rail Transportation & Operations team, and others to mitigate operational risk, prevent incidents, and respond to any incidents that may occur
• Partner with traders to manage physical inventory positions and recommend trade activity based on interactions with third parties
