About The Position

This role involves delivering newspapers to designated routes. The job requires a reliable vehicle, a valid driver's license, and a good driving record. The worker must be able to meet customer service objectives and communicate professionally. Physical demands include lifting heavy items, performing route delivery with frequent entry/exit from a vehicle, throwing newspapers, and walking. The ability to move around facilities, both indoors and outdoors, is also necessary. The working environment requires meeting deadlines and attendance standards, working weekends and early mornings, functioning in adverse conditions at night, and adhering to safety guidelines. A warehouse-type environment is also part of the setting.

Requirements

Must have and maintain access to a reliable vehicle.
Valid driver's license in state of residence.
Driving record in adherence with PCF guidelines.
Automobile insurance at limits required by PCF.
Ability to use the internet and learn PCF applications.
Ability to meet and/or exceed the established customer service objectives.
Ability to communicate information professionally and effectively.
Ability to routinely lift heavy items.
Ability to perform route delivery, going in and out of vehicle, throwing and walking.
Ability to move around the facility, both inside and outside.
Ability to meet deadlines and attendance standards.
Ability to work weekends and early morning hours.
Ability to work in a warehouse type environment.
Ability to function at night in adverse conditions.

Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
