About The Position

Under general supervision from an administrative superior, the Delivery Worker 2 uses Medical Center owned vehicles to make deliveries to OSUMC facilities both on and off the University campus. This role involves loading and unloading vehicles, making inside deliveries when requested, and maintaining related records and documentation. The Delivery Worker 2 also assists Storekeepers in processing receipts and receives and unloads stock from various freight and package carriers. This position serves as a liaison between Medical Center departments, patient care staff, Materiel Systems, and vendors. The work schedule is Monday - Friday, 12:30 pm to 9:00 pm, for 40 scheduled hours.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Valid driver's license
• Successful completion of a background check
• A drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process

Responsibilities

• Use Medical Center owned vehicle to make deliveries to OSUMC facilities on and off the University campus
• Load and unload vehicle
• Make inside deliveries when requested
• Maintain related records and documentation
• Assist Storekeepers in processing of receipts
• Receive and unload stock from various freight and package carriers
• Serve as a liaison between Medical Center departments, patient care staff, Materiel Systems, and vendors
