About The Position

The audio revolution is here – and iHeart is leading it! iHeartMedia, the number one audio company in America, reaches 90% of Americans every month. We are looking for a strong news writer/editor with sharp journalism skills. The ideal candidate is a seasoned news pro with an eye for detail, a great attitude, and a willingness to "do what it takes" to get the job done. This is an in-house Phoenix position and cannot be done from another location. Please be willing and ready to commit to shift work before applying - nights/weekends/holidays. This is most likely an overnight position to start.

Requirements

• 5+ years of newsroom experience.
• Highly efficient writing skills.
• Copy editing background.
• Ability to work from our downtown Phoenix newsroom.
• Digital audio skills.
