About The Position

A warm, first-time family expecting their baby in mid-August is seeking a loving, attentive newborn care nanny to join their home starting October 1st, 2026. The schedule is Monday through Friday, approximately 7/8am to 5/6pm. Responsibilities center on all duties related to caring for the new baby. Helping with the baby's laundry and occasionally the parents' laundry is a bonus but not required, and light meal prep for the baby will become part of the role down the line once solids are introduced. Candidates should be comfortable navigating stairs regularly and comfortable around dogs, as the family has a golden retriever in the home. A willingness to travel and a valid passport are considered a bonus, not a requirement. The family is open to a nationwide search but is not offering relocation assistance at this time.

Requirements

BA/BS College Degree, AA in related field of study, or a minimum of 5+ years of professional nanny experience
Up to date First-Aid & CPR certification (willingness to renew as needed)
Ability to make a one-year commitment unless applying for a temporary position
Passion for working with children
5+ years of childcare experience in any field
Excellent work and personal references
U.S. Driver's License
Competent swimmer (if and when required)
Non-smoker
Willingness to sign our no-cell phone driving signed guarantee
Eligible to work in the U.S.
Willingness to complete our Stop the Silence training upon membership
Up to date on standard vaccinations, including Tdap and MMR
Clean driving record
Comfortable driving the baby as needed
Comfortable navigating stairs regularly
Comfortable around dogs
