If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, the Hudson, NH team is seeking a highly skilled Senior New Product Introduction Engineer to join our Secure Communications Program Area consisting of Opto-Electrical Modules and assist our Radio Effects (RFx) Program Area as needed. Leading the transition to production of new and existing products from inception to delivery to the customer will require collaboration with the cross- functional program teams – this role will require a combination of collaborative/ in-person and independent work in a hybrid format. Supporting follow-on production awards, along with Development content leveraging our historical baseline – this role will have a unique opportunity to get exposure across several platforms and customers. General Responsibilities: The New Product Introduction Engineer is responsible for coordinating and leading the Transition to Production and Continuous Improvement efforts to drive producibility and manufacturing efficiency on existing and new programs. Starting at inception, the New Product Engineer will be collaborating with the Operations Program Manager and responsible for developing transition to production labor and non-recurring engineering estimates to support open proposals. Upon award, the New Product Engineer will work cross-functionally across the program to ensure the foundations of producibility, transition to production, manufacturing efficiency, and continuous improvements are implemented according to best practices to enable the program or programs meet their commitments to BAE Systems Inc. and our customers.
