About The Position

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. (DCI) is seeking motivated and compassionate individuals to join their nonprofit organization focused on providing individualized care for patients with chronic kidney disease. The New Nurse Graduate will provide specialized nursing care within a patient care team in DCI's in-center hemodialysis or hospital services units. RNs at DCI are crucial in ensuring safe care and high-quality patient outcomes. The role offers paid training, competitive pay, excellent benefits, and a supportive clinical environment with a lower caregiver-to-patient ratio. The schedule may include full-time shifts of either four 10-hour shifts or three 12-hour shifts. In-center RNs have Sundays off and no overnight shifts. Rotating call may be required for hospital services programs after orientation. Compensation is based on nursing and dialysis experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized nursing care as part of a patient care team.
  • Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating changes to physicians and families.
  • Prepare dialysis machines and treatment supplies, ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Perform hemodialysis treatments according to facility policies and procedures.
  • Provide ongoing patient education, training, and health coaching, including relevant documentation.
  • Administer and chart all prescribed medications under the supervision of a registered nurse.
  • Participate in patient care conferences, rounds, and chart reviews.
  • Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals.
  • Assist in medication inventory maintenance.
  • Contribute to training new staff members as directed.
  • Perform additional tasks as requested.
