Food & Water Watch is seeking a part-time New Mexico Organizer to join their Organizing team. This role will support campaigns focused on protecting food, water, and climate. The Organizer will collaborate with volunteers, allies, and other staff. The position is based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and is primarily remote, with occasional requirements to report to the office. Food & Water Watch is dedicated to ensuring a healthy future with accessible, trustworthy food, clean drinking water, and a livable climate for all. This involves engaging people at local, state, and federal levels to build a movement with the political power to influence democratic processes. The New Mexico Organizer will report to the Rural Organizing Manager and work with organizing, digital, and communications teams to build the volunteer base and advance statewide campaigns, particularly those opposing factory farms and data center development in New Mexico. This is a part-time, temporary, grant-funded position for a one-year term, paid hourly and classified as non-exempt.
