The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, a global network of policy research centers, is seeking a dynamic New Media Manager with a passion for storytelling and creative content to join its communications team in Washington, DC. This is a full-time position with an anticipated duration of 24 months. The New Media Manager will be responsible for increasing Carnegie's overall video-based output about major news topics in international affairs policy by connecting Carnegie scholars to networks of creators; training and coaching scholars in best practices; directing creative storytelling strategies for social media; and producing a strategy blueprint that can be shared with similarly positioned organizations operating in the new media landscape. This role will be critical in directing strategy to reaching audiences via short form video, advising, and helping create engaging content, and facilitating shared learnings across Carnegie and partner organizations.
