Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Working proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn CRM platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage duties with significant telephone and computer utilization.
- Strong time management skills.
- Great telephone customer service skills.
- Willingness to learn.
Nice To Haves
- Healthcare industry experience highly preferred.
- Experience with Salesforce, inContact, EHR, and payer portals preferred.
Responsibilities
- Review all new referrals to Byram Healthcare for CGM, Insulin pumps and related diabetic testing and equipment supplies.
- Completes benefits verification and eligibility checks with insurance plan providers using payer portals, faxes, or phone calls.
- Verifies insurance contracting with Byram and coverage with various products.
- Prepare and submit pre-authorizations to regional and national payers using multiple platforms. Respond timely to inquires from payers regarding requests.
- Effectively communicate with teammates, leaders, and insurance companies.
- Effectively document activities within Salesforce in an accurate and timely manner.
- Maintain base level productivity requirements.
