About The Position

Raleigh General Hospital is part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network with facilities coast to coast. At Lifepoint Health, as a New Graduate RN, you’ll be supported every step of the way as you begin your nursing career. Our evidence-based Nurse Residency Program provides hands-on, structured support to help you transition from a new graduate to a confident, competent registered nurse. You’ll be automatically enrolled in our comprehensive 12-month program, structured across three key phases: clinical competence, culture transition, and leadership development. Each phase is thoughtfully designed to guide your growth, strengthen your skills, and build confidence in delivering patient care. The CCSD Unit at Raleigh General Hospital provides specialized intermediate-level care for patients requiring close monitoring and advanced nursing support following critical illness, cardiac events, surgical procedures, or complex medical conditions. This fast-paced unit bridges the gap between intensive care and medical-surgical services, caring for patients with cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and other high-acuity diagnoses. Nurses on the unit are skilled in cardiac monitoring, post-procedural care, telemetry interpretation, medication management, and patient/family education.

Requirements

Degree from an accredited nursing school
RN Licensure
BCLS
