Raleigh General Hospital is seeking a New Graduate Registered Nurse (RN) for their Nurse Residency Program. This is a full-time, in-person position. The program is a comprehensive 12-month, evidence-based program designed to support new graduates in transitioning to confident and competent registered nurses. It is structured across three phases: clinical competence, culture transition, and leadership development. The program offers paid participation, flexible self-paced learning, one-on-one support from a preceptor, exposure to key topics like patient safety and communication, and a Capstone project focused on evidence-based practice. The CCSD Unit at Raleigh General Hospital provides specialized intermediate-level care for patients requiring close monitoring and advanced nursing support following critical illness, cardiac events, surgical procedures, or complex medical conditions. This unit cares for patients with cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and other high-acuity diagnoses, and nurses are skilled in cardiac monitoring, post-procedural care, telemetry interpretation, medication management, and patient/family education.
