About The Position

This is a full-time position for a Registered Nurse (RN) on a 36-hour per week oncology unit at Atrium Health's Carolinas Medical Center (CMC). The unit, 3T Medical/Oncology, is a 36-bed unit specializing in the care of patients with various solid tumor oncology diagnoses and their complications. The unit also has a women's/gynecology focus, caring for post-surgical patients. Chemotherapy agents, bispecific therapies, and clinical trial drugs are administered on this unit. The RN will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care using the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. This involves using evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and effective communication to ensure the safest patient environment and the best patient experience.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
