The Nurse Residency program is specifically designed for new Graduates and RNs with less than six months of experience in the Acute Care setting. Lead the coordination of care by collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure every patient receives a seamless, well-rounded healing experience. Advocate for patient safety through continuous monitoring and clear communication of clinical changes, ensuring the right interventions happen at the right time. Empower patients and families by translating complex medical procedures into clear, understandable guidance, preparing them with the confidence to manage their health at home. Master clinical excellence by performing comprehensive physical assessments and diagnostic tests that form the foundation of every patient’s personalized treatment plan. Support the transition to recovery by managing the end-to-end patient journey, from the initial admission assessment to the final discharge or transfer.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
