Oak Street Health New Graduate Nurse Practitioner Fellowship (Spanish Preferred)
About The Position
Oak Street Health is offering a 12-month paid Nurse Practitioner (NP) Fellowship in Adult Primary Care, in collaboration with the University of Michigan School of Nursing. This program is designed to equip new NPs with the skills, support, and learning necessary to become confident and competent clinicians for older adults within a value-based care model. Fellows will gain experience building a patient panel, learning from various preceptors, and participating in didactic content. The fellowship aims to prepare NPs for a career at Oak Street Health, focusing on improving community health. The program has two cohorts annually, starting in September and March.
Requirements
- Family, adult, or adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioners who graduated or will graduate from their programs between December 2024 and May 2026.
- Must currently reside in, or be willing to relocate to, the Fellowship program location for at least the next two years.
- Have not yet worked as an NP.
- Minimum of one year experience, within the last five years, working as an adult RN.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 in NP program.
- Have passed, or in the process of, passing NP board examinations by 6/6/2026.
- Currently holds or will hold by 8/3/2026 an active, non-probationary state NP license.
- A genuine passion for adult primary care.
