About The Position

Find Your Fit at Ahuja! Do you want to work in an expanding, new hospital setting but not sure what type of unit you want to start on? Apply now to learn more about our “Find Your Fit” program at Ahuja where you will start in our float pool and get to experience first-hand the different areas we have to offer and then make your decision on where you would like to call “home” after your initial orientation period. Click the links below to learn more about each participating units: Acute Care Unit (Ahuja 5), Acute Care Unit (Ahuja 6), Acute Care/Surgical Care Unit (Ahuja 7), Observation, Stepdown.

Requirements

Diploma RN, Associate or Bachelor's Degree of Nursing from an accredited program
Current BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association, must be obtained during Nursing Orientation.
An Ohio RN license is not required to be considered for this position. If selected to move forward, employment offers may be made contingent on candidate successfully obtaining RN license within time frame discussed at the time of offer acceptance.

Nice To Haves

BSN preferred
Prior experience on a related unit or specialty in a practicum, internship or STNA/PCNA/NAII is preferred

Responsibilities

Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status.
Implements the nursing process by delivering effective relationship based nursing care.
Demonstrates technical skills in care delivery that result in safe practice and positive care outcomes.
Demonstrates clear communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinical operations.
