About The Position
This position is for a Full-Time, Nights RN on a 38-bed unit specializing in Gastrointestinal, Urological, Colorectal, Bariatric, General Surgical and Medical Surgical patients. The hospital emphasizes investing in new graduate nurses and their career goals, offering a 12-month Nurse Residency program designed to support the transition into professional practice. This program includes interactive monthly classes to help apply coursework knowledge to real patient situations. Candidates will have opportunities to interview with multiple units and participate in job shadowing. The hospital is recognized as a Nurse Magnet Hospital.
Requirements
- Graduated or graduating from an accredited ADN/BSN or MSN degree nursing program
- Temporary/Permanent nursing license to practice in Louisiana OR Multistate License as defined by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
