About The Position

This is a full-time night shift position for a New Grad Registered Nurse on an Adult Internal Medicine Med Surg Unit. The position includes comprehensive nursing orientation, preceptorship training, and a 12-month Nurse Residency program designed to support a successful transition into professional practice. This program features interactive monthly classes to help apply learned knowledge to real patient situations. The hospital is seeking nursing students graduating in Summer/Fall 2026. The New Grad Nurse Recruiter will discuss available positions, and candidates will undergo a phone screening followed by interviews with clinical managers in areas of interest. Job shadow opportunities are available to help candidates make informed decisions.

Requirements

• Graduated or graduating from an accredited ADN/BSN or MSN degree nursing program
• Temporary/Permanent nursing license to practice in Louisiana OR Multistate License as defined by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification
