New Grad Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner (3-day work week)
About The Position
TotalCare Walk-In Clinic is a multi-specialty medical group offering services in internal medicine, family medicine, cardiology, urgent care, and medical aesthetics. They operate with a highly collaborative team of 25 providers across 8 locations. The clinic provides a supportive environment for both new graduates and experienced providers to deliver care to underserved communities in Southern California, enabling them to build a strong foundation in primary care/urgent care and gain hands-on experience with common procedures. The Medical Director facilitates weekly provider meetings for feedback, case discussions, and sharing the latest clinical research findings. A team of 6 MDs, each with over 30 years of experience, rotates across all offices and offers clinical support in-person or via phone during all shifts. The role includes structured onboarding with close physician mentorship and a dedicated training period, a team-based coverage model ensuring no solo provider shifts, strong clinical support staff, and a collaborative workplace culture. Administrative tasks are managed by a separate support team, eliminating call duties or clinical inbox responsibilities for the Nurse Practitioner. This position offers the opportunity to care for a diverse patient population across all age groups and backgrounds, with clinical exposure spanning both primary care and urgent care settings.
