About The Position
TotalCare Walk-In Clinic is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner for their Colton clinic. The clinic is part of a multi-specialty medical group offering services in internal medicine, family medicine, cardiology, urgent care, and medical aesthetics across 8 locations. The role offers a supportive environment for both new graduates and experienced providers, focusing on serving underserved communities in Southern California. The position provides an opportunity to build a strong foundation in primary care and urgent care, gaining hands-on experience with common procedures. The clinic fosters a collaborative culture with weekly provider meetings led by the Medical Director for feedback, case discussions, and clinical research updates. A team of 6 experienced MDs provides in-person or phone clinical support during all shifts. Highlights include structured onboarding with physician mentorship, a team-based coverage model with no solo shifts, strong clinical support staff, a $20,000 sign-on bonus, and performance incentives. The schedule involves three weekday 8:00 AM–8:00 PM shifts and one weekend 9:00 AM–5:00 PM shift every other week, allowing for extended alternating weekends. The role has no call duties or clinical inbox responsibilities, as administrative tasks are handled by a separate support team. It offers clinical exposure across primary and urgent care settings and a comprehensive benefits package including medical coverage and DEA/CME reimbursement.
