New Grad Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner (3-day work week)
About The Position
TotalCare Walk-In Clinic is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner for their El Monte clinic. TotalCare is a multi-specialty medical group offering services in internal medicine, family medicine, cardiology, urgent care, and medical aesthetics. The clinic has a collaborative team of 25 providers across 8 locations and provides a supportive environment for both new graduates and experienced providers to serve underserved communities in Southern California. The role offers the opportunity to build a strong foundation in primary care/urgent care and gain hands-on experience with common procedures. The Medical Director facilitates weekly provider meetings for feedback, case discussions, and sharing clinical research. A team of 6 experienced MDs (30+ years each) provides in-person or phone clinical support during all shifts. The position includes structured onboarding with physician mentorship, a team-based coverage model, strong clinical support staff, and a collaborative culture. There are no call duties or clinical inbox responsibilities, as administrative tasks are handled by a separate support team. The role offers exposure to a diverse patient population across all age groups and backgrounds, spanning both primary care and urgent care settings.
