About The Position

Goodwill Industries of Mid-Michigan is seeking motivated, team-building individuals to fill Full Time New Goods Processor positions at our Averill warehouse location. This role involves achieving production standards for pricing and sorting new products, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the cleanliness of the assigned work area. The position also requires adherence to safety protocols, including the mandatory use of agency-issued work gloves, and demonstrating an understanding and adherence to Goodwill’s mission, values, and code of ethics. The role supports the overall functions of the Warehouse as directed.

Requirements

Ability to lift and carry 35 pounds with or without help.
Ability to reach, bend and stoop.
Ability to stand six to eight hours a day.
Ability to learn and utilize safe lifting techniques.
Ability to move a 275 pound cart/rack utilizing mechanical support.
Pleasant, cheerful and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

Achieve production standard for pricing new and/or seasonal product at a pace of 85 pieces per hour minimum.
Affix price tags and stickers to product per SOP.
Accurately sort new product at the pace of one skid per hour.
Maintain accurate records.
Maintain the cleanliness of the assigned area.
Ensure outgoing product is recorded properly.
Adhere to mandatory use of agency issued work gloves while sorting product.
Demonstrates understanding and adherence to Goodwill’s mission, values and code of ethics, while promoting a respectful and inclusive workplace.
Assist in the functions of the Warehouse as directed.
