Silicon Labs is seeking 2027 New College Graduates to join various teams within the company. This posting represents a talent pool for potential openings in Software and Firmware Engineering, Product, Test, and Validation Engineering, Applications and Systems Engineering, Business and Corporate functions (including Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, and EHS/Sustainability). Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD related to the area of interest.
  • Graduation date of Dec 2026 or May 2027.
  • Relevant coursework, academic projects, research, student-organization involvement, or previous internship experience.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Willingness to ask questions, receive feedback, and learn new tools, technologies, and processes.
  • Programming experience with C, C++, Python, Java, JavaScript, or another relevant language (for Software/Firmware roles).
  • Embedded systems, firmware, microcontrollers, device drivers, or hardware-software integration (for Software/Firmware roles).
  • Bare-metal, Linux, or real-time operating system development (for Software/Firmware roles).
  • Wireless protocols, networking, cloud platforms, APIs, SDKs, or developer tools (for Software/Firmware roles).
  • Software testing, test automation, debugging, version control, or continuous integration (for Software/Firmware roles).
  • Security concepts such as secure coding, cryptography, authentication, or embedded security (for Software/Firmware roles).
  • Electronic circuits, semiconductor devices, microcontrollers, or embedded systems (for Product/Test/Validation roles).
  • Laboratory testing, hardware bring-up, characterization, or failure analysis (for Product/Test/Validation roles).
  • Experience using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, signal generators, or similar laboratory equipment (for Product/Test/Validation roles).
  • Test development or automation using Python, C/C++, MATLAB, LabVIEW, or similar tools (for Product/Test/Validation roles).
  • Data collection, statistical analysis, debugging, and technical documentation (for Product/Test/Validation roles).
  • Software validation, quality assurance, test planning, or defect tracking (for Product/Test/Validation roles).
  • Embedded hardware, firmware, software, or system-level development (for Applications/Systems Engineering roles).
  • Microcontrollers, wireless systems, sensors, evaluation boards, or development kits (for Applications/Systems Engineering roles).
  • Hardware and software debugging using laboratory equipment and development tools (for Applications/Systems Engineering roles).
  • Wireless technologies such as Bluetooth Low Energy, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, Thread, Matter, or proprietary protocols (for Applications/Systems Engineering roles).
