Our engineers work at the forefront of semiconductor research to enable future DRAM scaling, performance improvements, and reliability enhancements. As a DRAM Device & Cell Technology Engineer, you will contribute to advancing and optimizing next-generation DRAM cell architectures and access device technologies. Working alongside experienced engineers and researchers, you will apply your knowledge of semiconductor devices, data analysis, and experimental methods to solve complex technical challenges and support future memory technology roadmaps.

Requirements

  • M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Applied Physics, or a related technical field, completed by start date.
  • Coursework, studies, practical training, or project experience involving semiconductor devices, microelectronics, materials characterization, or device physics.
  • Fundamental understanding of semiconductor device physics, including MOSFET operation and electrical characterization principles.
  • Experience using data analysis and scripting tools such as Python, MATLAB, JMP, or equivalent software.
  • Proven ability to analyze technical data and communicate results in academic, research, or internship environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Academic research, internship, or project experience related to memory technologies, semiconductor devices, or sophisticated process technologies.
  • Familiarity with DRAM fundamentals, including memory cell operation, sensing, retention, or reliability mechanisms.
  • Experience with TCAD simulation tools such as Synopsys Sentaurus, Silvaco, or comparable modeling platforms.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor fabrication, process integration, reliability analysis, or device variation concepts.
  • Exposure to AI, Generative AI, or Applying AI tools to support technical research, engineering analysis, or workflow efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and evaluation of DRAM cell and access device technologies to improve density, retention, reliability, and disturb immunity.
  • Design, complete, and analyze silicon experiments, electrical characterization studies, and device performance investigations.
  • Collaborate with device, process integration, modeling, design, and product engineering teams to understand array-level behavior and optimize technology solutions.
  • Perform data analysis and communicate technical findings through reports, presentations, and team discussions.
  • Utilize AI-Assisted tools and data analysis techniques to improve engineering productivity, identify trends in experimental data, and support technology development activities.
