About The Position

The New Client Implementation Specialist provides timely and accurate set-up of new accounts. They process the initial payroll(s) with the client until it is determined that the payroll has been set up accurately and processing correctly.

Requirements

  • A High school diploma or GED
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of payroll processing experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
  • Ability to establish a good, cooperative relationship with clients.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • A Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years of payroll processing experience
  • Experience with Worklio payroll software
  • Other payroll software experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a high-touch (“white glove”) onboarding experience that builds client trust and satisfaction.
  • Make contact with new clients within 24 hours of receiving new contracts to gather all necessary information to onboard.
  • Process first few payrolls and produce all necessary reports as required by client.
  • Update and maintain employee and client information to ensure year-end processing of W-2’s is accurate. This includes names changes, pay rates, addresses, departmental changes, new hires, re-hires and terminations.
  • Build and maintain working relationships with clients through excellent customer service.
  • Work internally with all departments to onboard clients and their employees timely.
