About The Position

Mac Haik Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram is seeking a New Car Salesperson to join their team. This role is responsible for selling new vehicles, meeting dealership standards for gross profit, volume, and customer satisfaction, and managing the entire sales process from prospecting to follow-up. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to sell a minimum quota according to dealership standards
  • Successful completion of pre-employment screening
  • Authorization to work in the USA

Responsibilities

  • Guarantee customer satisfaction by determining their vehicle needs through questioning and active listening.
  • Consult and guide customers through the sales process.
  • Demonstrate vehicle characteristics, capabilities, and features, including test drives, comparisons with competitors, and explanations of warranties and services.
  • Prepare sold vehicles for delivery and ensure customers understand the vehicle's features, warranty, and paperwork.
  • Establish personal income goals aligned with dealership standards and develop strategies to achieve them.
  • Report to the Sales Manager on objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses.
  • Stay informed about incoming inventory, features, and accessories and their benefits to customers.
  • Attend sales meetings and training sessions provided by the dealership and manufacturer.
  • Utilize the CRM for prospecting and maintaining repeat and referral business.
  • Understand automotive terminology and stay updated on product technology.
  • Write complete sales orders and process paperwork according to dealership policies.
  • Transition customers to the service department to enhance the ownership experience.
  • Maintain a professional personal appearance.
  • Adhere to a consistent and reliable work schedule.
  • Demonstrate ethical business practices and integrity.
  • Perform duties safely.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
