About The Position

Sheehan Cadillac is a family-owned and operated dealership that has been in business for 70 years. The New Car Sales Associate welcomes dealership customers, helps them select vehicles, explains vehicle features and options, and provides professional presentations and demonstrations. The role follows the dealership’s sales process, including addressing objections and closing sales, and reports to the Sales Manager. Previous dealership experience is a plus. Requirements

Comfort with compensation based on commission sales.
Enthusiasm and high energy throughout the sales workday.
An outgoing, friendly personality, particularly when handling objections and negotiating pricing.
A clean and valid driver’s license.
Willingness to submit to an employment background check.

Responsibilities

Approach, greet, and offer assistance or direction to customers entering the dealership showroom or sales lot.
Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
Explain product performance, application, and benefits to prospects.
Describe optional equipment available for customer purchase.
Build strong rapport with customers.
Present and demonstrate new and used vehicles in a high-quality, professional, and knowledgeable manner.
Learn to overcome objections, close sales, and perform all other steps of the sales process in accordance with company standards.
Report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses.
