About The Position

In this role, you will be responsible for completing all system updates and investigation after underwriting is complete on a new business application. This is a highly technical role which requires individuals to complete new business transactions in an accurate and timely manner. Individuals in this role will be considered the system and processing experts. This role is hybrid from the Montreal office.

Requirements

  • Bilingualism (fluent in French and English) required, as the position will regularly serve our clients with English and French-speaking needs.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately processing new business transactions with the goal of meeting or exceeding service standards on a regular basis
  • Updating the administration system(s) to ensure the correct contract is produced.
  • Placing of policies, receipt of funds, verifying signature requirements in the administration system and completing post decision tasks in Aura and Compass
  • Reissue requests on policy contracts
  • Responsible for processing post underwriting decision transactions for Life, Critical Illness and/or Disability applications
  • Creating or replacing new documents to create accurate contract packages
  • Investigation of outstanding placing requirements at predetermined intervals
  • Processing payments
  • Updates to Client Information System
  • Manage closing out of pending and issued files without outstanding requirements
  • Process requests for optional policies
  • Creating client letters
