About The Position

The New Business Administration team enters application data into the AdminServer annuity administration system, assists producers with the completion of all required application paperwork, outstanding pending requirements, and various requests. We provide status updates on pending exchanges and transfers as well as information on pending and recently issued annuity contracts. In addition, we answer questions regarding interest rates and handle requests for Duplicate Contracts when needed.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or equivalent (GED)
  • At least one year of office or clerical experience
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.), Adobe Acrobat, and other PC applications and/or software.
  • Oral & written communication and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational and people skills.
  • Ability to work well independently or in a team environment, and within required deadlines.
  • Strong mathematical skills and aptitude

Nice To Haves

  • Insurance knowledge preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to producers by answering questions related to new business submissions.
  • Accurately enter application information into the annuity administration system.
  • Review incoming annuity applications to ensure all submitted paperwork is completed correctly and complies with company policies, regulatory standards, and suitability requirements.
  • Respond to emails, faxes and uploads in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure all documents are scanned and uploaded accurately to the annuity administration system.
  • Request funds and account status updates from various financial institutions.
  • Process preliminary and deferred contract illustrations as necessary for replacement and issue requirements.
  • Apply premiums and issue annuity contracts, creating commissions to producers.
  • Assemble new contracts, duplicate contracts or certificates expeditiously. Cancel any contracts as requested in writing and provide refunds, if required.
  • Prepare and process New York Regulation 60 required paperwork.
  • If additional requirements are needed, a follow-up to the producer will be necessary until those requirements are met.
  • Mail pending letters to producers on a weekly basis.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external clients by positive promotion of the Company products and services. Continually encourage open communication and expand partnerships through global exposure to enhance our business growth.
