Join Savanta as a New Business B2B Sales Professional and play a pivotal role in expanding our client base within the market research industry. You’ll focus on acquiring new clients, driving revenue growth, and selling innovative research services and AI-powered solutions. Working with high-profile organizations and some of the world’s best-known brands, we Inform & Inspire our clients to Make Better Decisions through powerful data, empowering technology and high-impact consulting. Savanta is on a bold journey - transforming from a traditional market research firm into a tech-first, insights-driven leader. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in Full-service, Consultative Sales, specifically within the market research industry and research process. The position is based out of the New York office. Applicants must reside on the East Coast to be eligible for consideration. Our Client Development team is at the heart of our business, collaborating across Research and Operations to drive new business and growth from existing accounts. We’re a successful, fast paced team who support each other, drive improvement, and enjoy what we do. We’re proud to consult, advise and challenge our clients, providing them with the best insight solutions to make lasting improvements to their business performance. Your primary objective will be to expand our client base and revenue by showcasing the value of our marketing research services and solutions.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of Full service, Consultative sales success in B2B or business development within the marketing research, or market intelligence industry.
  • Strong understanding of market research methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent consultative communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish credibility with clients.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven with a passion for exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales productivity tools.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage prospective clients, targeting fresh partnerships and new market sectors.
  • Lead the full sales cycle: prospecting, consultative pitching, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
  • Collaborate with research, marketing, and analytics teams to craft tailored proposals and solutions.
  • Stay at the forefront of market research innovation, selling cutting-edge offerings like Synthetic Personas and Synthetic Data solutions.
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with senior client decision-makers.
  • Directly drive company growth and shape your own sales strategy.
  • Work with senior clients on mission-critical projects across diverse sectors.
