About The Position

We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Business Development prospector to identify and cultivate new project opportunities for Ritz Craft Commercial (RC2), a leading modular construction manufacturer. This is a part-time, 1099 independent contractor position focused on generating qualified leads, developing industry relationships, and creating opportunities within targeted market sectors. The ideal candidate possesses existing relationships within the construction, development, architecture, engineering, or real estate industries and has a proven ability to open doors and initiate conversations with prospective clients.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of business development, sales, construction, real estate, or related experience.
Knowledge of modular construction and ability to articulate its value proposition.
Strong network within the construction and development community.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
Valid driver's license, for occasional travel.

Responsibilities

Identify and research prospective clients and projects.
Develop relationships with developers, owners, architects, engineers, and general contractors.
Conduct outreach through phone calls, email campaigns, LinkedIn, networking events, and industry associations.
Schedule introductory meetings, presentations, and facility tours.
Monitor project leads and upcoming bid opportunities.
Maintain an organized pipeline of prospects and opportunities.
Provide weekly reports regarding prospect activity, market intelligence, and competitive insights.
Represent the company professionally at industry events and networking functions.
