About The Position

Responsible for processing all life new business that is received at HUB Financial daily. Required work functions include but are not limited to the processing of insurance policies that are allocated daily, entering all new business applications into our database which are allocated on a daily basis. While an individual may focus on one of the functions listed above each team member will be expected to be able to complete any of the required job functions of the team and will be expected to participate in regular cross training to ensure that their knowledge of the various responsibilities of the department remains current.

Requirements

  • Minimum High school diploma or GED
  • Computer training/data entry
  • Detail Oriented
  • Team Player
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Oral and written fluency in the English language
  • Data Entry experience
  • Experience working under deadlines
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the Life Insurance and/or Investment Industry
  • Experience with WealthServ is an asset
  • Bilingual speaking is an asset
  • LOMA or other industry related course are an asset

Responsibilities

  • Enter anywhere from 25-30 applications daily
  • Process anywhere from 40-50 policies daily
  • Verify that the client information, plan and premium coverage against the issued policy
  • Ensure that all policies are coded to the correct broker and mail code as indicated
  • First review of the application to ensure that the application is completed fully and note any missing information
  • Verify the medical requirements and if required, ensure they are ordered
  • Ensure scanned documents are attached appropriately within the correct database
  • Service regional offices to ensure new business is processed and settled in a timely fashion
  • Ensure compliance to corporate procedures, industry guidelines and client instruction in all applications
  • Ensure accuracy of information and adhering to NIGO procedures when paperwork is incomplete or inaccurate
  • Update and maintain the insurance database with additions or changes to client information, client plans or policies
  • Other duties as assigned
