About The Position

As the premium and local provider of coffee, tea, and beverage solutions since 1960, Prairie Fire Coffee Roasters continues to innovate and expand our business nationwide by offering tailored beverage solutions to meet the specific needs of each customer backed by our friendly, reliable PrairieFire service. As a New Account Sales Representative, you’ll be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue generation by identifying, prospecting, and closing new business opportunities. This role will play a pivotal role in expanding the company’s customer base and establishing strong relationships with customers. The ideal candidate for this position will have strong customer relationship management skills, demonstrate excellent product knowledge, and be comfortable negotiating and closing deals.

Requirements

  • Strong sales acumen – must be able to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
  • Proficient understanding of consultative and solution-based selling techniques.
  • Comfortable establishing and nurturing long-lasting customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and research potential clients through various channels.
  • Cold call, email, and network to generate leads and create a strong pipeline.
  • Understand client needs and pain points to tailor solutions that address their business challenges.
  • Present and demonstrate products/services effectively, highlighting their value.
  • Skillfully negotiate terms, pricing, and contract details to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Close sales deals and achieve or exceed assigned sales targets.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and referrals.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market developments and competitor activities.
  • Use market insights to adapt sales strategies and identify new opportunities.
  • Understand the details of the products and services being sold.
  • Continue to learn and stay up to date with the newest products, services, and trends.
