About The Position

The Neurovascular Product Marketing Intern assists with the planning and execution of ongoing marketing efforts for assigned Penumbra products.

Requirements

  • High school diploma with 2+ years of college experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other standard office tools required.
  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal communications skills required

Nice To Haves

  • Coursework in biology, neuroscience, business, or related discipline
  • 1+ years of business, administrative, or marketing experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Some exposure to digital marketing
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and other standard office tools

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for the development and production of new marketing literature and sales support tools.
  • Assist the Marketing Team in updating and providing support for Neuro website needs.
  • Attend trade shows and meetings to develop an understanding of the clinical use of Penumbra products.
  • Participate in clinical data gathering and review activities, identifying major studies, key end points, upcoming trials, and data release dates (PEN and competitive products) to support publications and scientific presentations that underpin Penumbra’s messages and clinical value propositions in the medical community.
  • Conduct ShowPad Audit and provide recommendations to the Team on what needs to be updated, removed, added, or re-vamped.
  • Participate in upstream marketing projects to assist with the identification and exploration of new disease state and market opportunities.
  • Work with Product Management and Business Strategy on the development and maintenance of marketing analytics and business models.
  • Help support social media needs, helping with content generation and monitoring (PEN and competitive).
  • Adhere to the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) as well as domestic and global quality system regulations, standards, and procedures.
  • Understand relevant security, privacy, and compliance principles and adhere to the regulations, standards, and procedures that are applicable to the Company.
  • Ensure other members of the department follow the QMS, regulations, standards, and procedures.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
