Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Storytelling expertise, preferably cinematic & narrative screenwriting experience.
  • Deep understanding of video games and video game culture & genres.
  • Ability to take critical feedback and iterate quickly.
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience writing for video game launches, live-service, or 360 marketing campaigns.
  • Experience with trailer structure, gameplay marketing, and social-first creative.
  • Screenwriting, narrative design, or cinematic writing background.
  • Familiarity with production workflows across editorial, capture, and design.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Scriptwriting: Draft scripts for gameplay trailers, cinematic teasers, and social-first video content.
  • Campaign Development: Collaborate with the Strategy and Creative teams to develop high-level campaign platforms, taglines, and key messaging.
  • Brand Voice: Establish and maintain unique tone-of-voice guidelines for diverse game IPs.
  • Social & Community Copy: Write engaging copy for TikTok, X, and community-driven activations.
  • Pitching: Develop and present creative concepts to internal stakeholders and external clients.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside Editors, Motion GFX Artists, and Game Capture teams to ensure the final product aligns with the written vision.
