About The Position
BayCare Medical Group is actively recruiting for a Neurosurgical Physician Assistant to join a team of five board-certified neurosurgeons, supported by five physician assistants. This role is based at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Florida, serving as the premier choice for neurosurgical care in Pinellas County. The position involves clinic responsibilities and occasional inpatient duties, including first assisting in the operating room. The team specializes in treating cranial, spinal, and cerebrovascular conditions using advanced neurosurgical procedures and customized treatment plans. Call responsibilities are shared equally among the team.
Requirements
- NCCPA Certification
- Florida License
- Acute Care Certification
Nice To Haves
- Neurosurgical clinical rotation is strongly preferred
- 1 year experience as a Neurosurgical Physician Assistant is preferred
- Solid knowledge of brain and spine pathologies
