About The Position
This is a locum tenens position for a Neurosurgeon at a Level II Trauma Center in Topeka, KS. The role involves providing 24-hour neurosurgery call coverage during a 7-day rotation, from Friday 7:00 AM to the following Friday at 7:00 AM. Responsibilities include inpatient neurosurgical evaluation and management, rounds and follow-up, operating room coverage, and managing spine/back, cranial, and trauma cases. Pediatric cases are excluded. The position requires coordination with hospital-based staff and other treating providers. The coverage period is from 12/31/2026 to 04/02/2027, with an ongoing need anticipated. The service setting is inpatient, and the coverage type is clinical plus call.

Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour neurosurgery call coverage during a 7-day rotation from Friday 7:00 AM to the following Friday at 7:00 AM.
