About The Position
We are seeking a Neurosurgeon to provide 24-hour beeper call coverage for neurosurgical emergencies and inpatient consults. This role involves managing trauma and acute neurosurgical cases, including head and spine injuries. The Neurosurgeon will perform spinal surgeries with and without instrumentation (cervical, thoracic, lumbar), and place and manage VP shunts and intracranial pressure (ICP) monitors. Collaboration with hospital staff and specialists is essential to ensure comprehensive neurosurgical care.
Requirements
- Board Certified (BC)
- WA or IMLC License
- DEA Required
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- General Neurosurgery
- VP shunt procedures
- Spinal surgery with instrumentation (Cervical, Thoracic, Lumbar)
- Spinal surgery w/o instrumentation (Cervical, Thoracic, Lumbar)
- Placement of ICP monitors
