About The Position
This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Neurosurgeon with an interest and desire to do spine and cranial work to join a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network. Step into an established, high-performing Neurosurgery practice focused on complex spine and cranial cases along with general neurology. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a stable, nonprofit health system and a large multispecialty group. As an employed physician, you will benefit from deep operational and clinical support and a robust, built-in internal referral network. The practice is situated within a state-of-the-art hospital featuring a designated Neuro ICU, a Comprehensive Stroke Center, and an established Interventional Pain Program. Access to a full spectrum of dedicated colleagues, including Neurosurgery and Neurology Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), and Physician Assistants. The team is further supported by Neuropsychologists, Epileptologists, NeuroInterventional Radiology specialists, and Neurohospitalists.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery.
- Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration.
- Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
Nice To Haves
- Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Responsibilities
- Perform spine and cranial neurosurgery.
- Engage in general neurology.
- Participate in a 1:3 or possibly 1:4 call structure.
