About The Position

Corewell Health Neurosciences is recruiting for a Psychotherapist to work alongside our Neurologists and Advanced Practice Providers within our Epilepsy and Movement spaces to provide psychotherapy to patients with functional neurologic disorders. The role entails providing consultation services and therapy primarily to Epileptic and non-Epileptic seizure patients, as well as patients with functional movement disorders. This role will work with an Integrated Medical Team providing consults and therapy with primarily to Epileptic and non-Epileptic seizures and functional movement patients. This position will also conduct pre-surgical consults, focusing 85-90% on therapy and 10% on consults for EMU/surgical consults for stress reduction and therapy.

Requirements

• Master's Degree Social Work
• LIC-Master Social Worker (MSW-Master) - STATE_MI
• State of Michigan Upon Hire required

• Experience in Trauma therapy
• Knowledge and use of CBT & DBT
