About The Position

Corewell Health Neurosciences is recruiting for a Psychotherapist to work alongside our Neurologists and Advanced Practice Providers within our Epilepsy and Movement spaces to provide psychotherapy to patients with functional neurologic disorders. The role entails providing consultation services and therapy primarily to Epileptic and non-Epileptic seizure patients, as well as patients with functional movement disorders. This role will work with an Integrated Medical Team providing consults and therapy. The position involves 85-90% therapy and 10% consults for stress reduction and therapy, including pre-surgical consults.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Social Work
• Licensed Master Social Worker (MSW-Master) - State of Michigan Upon Hire

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Trauma therapy
• Knowledge and use of CBT & DBT
