About The Position

The Department of Radiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) is seeking a fellowship-trained teleradiologist for a remote evening position with manageable imaging volumes. This position has an evening schedule (5 PM – 3 AM CST) and offers a highly competitive salary with W2 and 1099 options. The role involves interpreting a mix of ER, inpatient, and outpatient studies, including CT, CTA, MRI, ultrasound, and plain films. The successful candidate will work alongside in-house residents and be supported by a fellowship-trained neuroradiologist and a body radiologist during all hours of the shift. Additional swing shift radiologist coverage ensures manageable imaging volumes. The department utilizes state-of-the-art equipment across various diagnostic imaging modalities. This is a clinical position with no required lectures or research, though opportunities are available if sought by the candidate. Candidates must be comfortable interpreting studies outside their primary subspecialty. The department supports work-life balance.

Requirements

  • Fellowship trained teleradiologist
  • M.D.
  • Board Certified in Radiology
  • Outstanding credentials
  • Experienced in the interpretation of CT, CTA, MRI, ultrasound, and plain films
  • Comfortable interpreting imaging studies outside of their primary subspecialty
