About The Position

This is a full-time, on-site neuroradiologist position for a major federal medical center located in Lake Nona, Orlando, FL. The role operates on a day-shift schedule, Monday through Friday, with no on-call duties, no nights, and no weekends. The facility is a 370-bed federal medical center, one of the largest in its national system, serving over 145,000 patients in Central Florida. The radiology department is fully equipped with advanced technology, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, mammography, nuclear medicine, and PET, and utilizes AI-assisted nodule detection. The successful candidate will join a two-radiologist team covering the department daily and will be expected to meet a productivity standard of approximately 35 wRVUs per day, adhering to American College of Radiology (ACR) practice parameters and participating in departmental quality and peer review.

Requirements

• Active, full and unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state
• Board certified or board eligible with the American Board of Radiology
• Fellowship training in neuroradiology (or substantial neuroradiology practice experience)
• At least three continuous years of practice as a diagnostic radiologist within the last four years
• Current proficiency in CT, MRI, ultrasound and diagnostic X-ray
• No history of a restricted, suspended, surrendered, revoked or denied medical license in any state

Responsibilities

• Interpret brain, spine, and head and neck CT and MRI as the department's neuroradiology lead
• Share general diagnostic reading with your on-site partner: plain film, fluoroscopy and general ultrasound
• Protocol studies and consult in person with referring clinicians on neuro imaging questions
• Meet a steady, reasonable productivity standard of about 35 wRVUs per day
• Follow ACR practice parameters and take part in departmental quality and peer review
