About The Position

Radiology Associates of Florida seeks a full-time overnight neuroradiologist to staff the overnight shift at Tampa General Hospital. This remote academic position has a 100% neuro case mix and a 7-days-on, 14-days-off schedule, with flexible starting hours based on candidate preference. The practice performs a broad range of neuroradiology examinations, including trauma, stroke (including CT perfusion using RAPID software), oncology, dementia, movement disorders, and functional MRI. The Tampa practice serves a stroke center of excellence and collaborates with other RAF divisions to offer an optimal study mix. The practice is affiliated with the University of South Florida, with eight residents per year and one neuroradiology fellow. The role offers the opportunity for a faculty appointment. An interest in teaching neuroradiology, particularly to the fellow, is desired; dedicated didactic lectures are welcome but not required. The radiologist will collaborate with an experienced, team-based group of subspecialists. An internal moonlighting program also allows radiologists to work remotely as much or as little as they choose, without committing to extra shifts. Radiology Associates of Florida is the largest radiology practice in Florida and serves established health systems across the state. The practice emphasizes quality, subspecialty-level interpretations, collaboration, and consultation. Its IT suite includes universal PACS, AI tools, and integrated physician-to-physician communication widgets. The practice is locally and democratically led and teaches at the University of South Florida Department of Radiology in Tampa. The salary range is $500,000–$1,000,000, with eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus. Compensation may vary based on factors including education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location. Benefits include health and wellness coverage options, 401(k), family planning, telehealth, and other benefits, subject to eligibility requirements.
