About The Position

As our Neuropsychology Resident, you will function as a postdoctoral resident in clinical neuropsychology, requiring accuracy in the administration and scoring of neuropsychological tests, report-writing, and careful interviewing of patients. Every day you will apply demonstrated knowledge of brain-behavior relationships through presentations in didactic seminars, contributions to clinical research projects, analysis of patient records/clinical findings, and in some settings, provide rehabilitation interventions and communicate neuropsychological findings and their implications to patients and families. To be successful in this role, you will exhibit exceptional precision in assessment and documentation, demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills, and effectively integrate clinical knowledge to enhance patient care and contribute to ongoing research and education in neuropsychology. Provides kind and compassionate care consistent with the ethics of professional psychology and specifically the guidelines of the American Psychological Association Reports to work consistently and promptly and provides proper advance notice of absence or tardiness Arranges for coverage when necessary Initiates and follows through on clinical and research responsibilities Notifies appropriate staff when leaving assigned area and ensures qualified personnel cover the work assignment/patient team during breaks/away times Maintains clear and accurate notes

Requirements

  • PhD or PsyD in clinical neuropsychology, clinical psychology, counseling psychology, or medical psychology from an APA or CPA accredited program.
