About The Position

Corewell Health is seeking a full-time, adult-focused clinical neuropsychologist to join the neuropsychology service as part of the Geriatric Assessment Center and Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation based in Berkley, MI and Royal Oak, MI. The positions also involve brief inpatient consultation with the various medical and rehabilitation teams, as well as patients and families. There are also opportunities for participation in teaching, research, and quality improvement projects as part of multiple affiliated residency/fellowship programs. Neuropsychologists also participate in teaching and training clinical psychology practicum students.

Requirements

Doctorate Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology.
Post-doctoral residency in Clinical Neuropsychology.
LIC-Psychologist - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required

Nice To Haves

Candidates who are ABPP board certified or eligible to become board certified in clinical neuropsychology are preferred.

Responsibilities

Administer psychodiagnostic/neuropsychological evaluations and consultations to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Actively participate in interdisciplinary staffing to provide input to the patient treatment plan.
Provide family education and input on behavior modification when appropriate.
Neuropsychological and psychological assessment, including testing, scoring, feedback, and report writing, in inpatient and outpatient clinical settings, addressing referral questions for a broad range of patients (including neurodegenerative disorders, epilepsy, movement disorders, and TBI/Stroke).
Provide testimony at depositions or trials.
Consult with Legal Affairs Department attorneys and staff regarding testimony and release of records.
