About The Position
The Division of Neurocognitive Disorders, within the Department of Psychiatry and Psychology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, is recruiting an adult clinical neuropsychologist with interest and expertise in Multicultural/Multilingual neuropsychology. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of functional neuroanatomy and diagnostic procedures as they relate to neurodegenerative and other neurologic conditions, be bilingual or multi-lingual, and have expertise in alignment with the ABCN Relevance 2050 Initiative. The neuropsychologist will provide clinical services for patients referred to the neuropsychology clinic for assessment of cognition related to neurologic and psychiatric conditions, including some that are rare and complex, with the assistance of bilingual psychometrists and interpreters. The successful candidate will join a supportive division of 17 board-certified neuropsychologists and 2 board-certified rehabilitation psychologists. The candidate will benefit from generous administrative and technical support. As an academic institution, active engagement in research and education is expected, with resources available for program development and scholarly pursuits. Faculty appointment will be commensurate with experience. Competitive early career applicants and recent fellowship graduates will also be considered.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree from an American Psychological Association (APA) or Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) accredited graduate program.
- Completion of an APA or CPA-accredited internship.
- Eligibility for licensure in Minnesota.
- ABPP board-certified or planning to pursue ABPP board certification in clinical neuropsychology.
